About Divisor

Why Divisor exists

Divisor was built out of a frustration: some of the problems that matter most are ones a business cannot easily solve by itself. Each side of Divisor exists for one of them.

For Digital Divisor, the problem was getting new ideas designed and built. Through a career spent buying and delivering technology, our founder kept meeting the same thing: a black box. Suppliers were slow, opaque about how they worked, and creative with pricing.

Business Divisor came from the leadership roles we’ve held ourselves. Run a business for long enough and it gets hard to see the wood for the trees: you’re too close to challenge the way things are done, and there’s rarely a constructive, challenging partner to help you get your thinking clear. And the ideas were never the hard part. Change happens when someone gets to know the team, helps it get delivered, and gives the person at the top room to think about where the business is going, not just how it is running.

We set up Divisor to be the partner we could never find: one that pairs a deep understanding of business with deep technical capability, works transparently, and prices like it has nothing to hide.

Meet the founder

Damian Pike

Damian, Founder

Damian started in technology with a computer science degree from Durham and a graduate role at ICL (now Fujitsu), before an MBA at HEC Paris, specialising in entrepreneurship, set the direction for everything since: using technology to build better businesses.

He consulted on strategy at PA Consulting for clients including Prudential, Royal Mail and BT, then helped build one of the UK's first digital consultancies in the early internet era, growing its business practice and establishing its Paris office. As Chief Operating Officer of a technology services business he led its growth from 100 to 650 people, returned it to profit and steered it through a successful sale. He then spent seven years as a Vice President at DHL Supply Chain, where his ventures and innovation teams delivered over £500m of new business.

Divisor brings that experience to businesses that could never justify a big-consultancy engagement, and shouldn't have to.

Senior-led, hands-on

A senior core team, extended by a trusted network of specialists we have worked with for years.

The people you meet do the work

No juniors, no hand-offs, no account layers. The person who understands your business on day one is the person delivering on day ninety.

Transparent by design

Clear scope, honest pricing and visible progress. You will always know what we are doing, why, and what it costs.

Business first, technology second

Every engagement starts with your goals and your numbers, not a technology pitch. We recommend what we would buy in your position.

Where we work

From our Glasgow base, we work with small and medium sized organisations across the UK, covering private and non-profit sectors.
