Case study
From AI-built prototype to a real product, in under two months
An early-stage SaaS company · Software (SaaS)
A founder had built a working proof of concept with AI tools. We crossed the gap to a commercial-grade product (secure, multi-tenant and scalable) and had it live with five clients in under two months.
The situation
The founder had done something increasingly common: used AI tools to build a working proof of concept themselves. It proved the idea, but a proof of concept and a product customers can rely on are two very different things.
To sell it commercially, the solution had to cross a real gap: proper security and access control, multi-tenancy so each client’s data stays separate, storage and scalability, and a back end fit for a live, paying customer base. That is the delta between something AI can generate and something you can safely put your name to.
What we did
Assess the proof of concept
We reviewed what the AI-built prototype did well and where it would not hold up under real customers, a security review or load.
Rebuild for commercial use
We productionised it with multi-tenant architecture, access control, secure storage and a robust back end, without losing the idea that made the prototype work.
Launch and onboard
We took it live and supported onboarding the first clients onto the platform.

Outcomes
The results
- Live as a production-grade product in under two months
- Five clients onboarded onto the platform
- Multi-tenant, with proper security and access control
- Scalable storage and a back end built for growth
- A commercial product from what began as an AI experiment
